Human Nerve Growth Factor (hNGF) is a critical neurotrophin responsible for the growth, maintenance and survival of target neurons. Because hNGF relies on a network of disulfide bonds for its biological activity, our recombinant version is fused to DsbC, a bacterial disulfide isomerase. Expressed in E. coli, the DsbC tag promotes correct folding and improves solubility, delivering an active, stable protein for your assays. DsbC-tagged hNGF has demonstrated functional activity in cell-based assays.
